We are motivated to explore the new phenomena and novel application
devices in highly interdisciplinary subjects combining both knowledge from
the optics and the fluidics. We encourage young researchers to develop
state-of-art fluidic devices from the principals of optics and vice versa. The
involved theories and technologies might be:
●Theory: Coupled-wave theory, linear potential flow theory, diffractive
optics theory.
●Technology: Boundary element method, computational fluid dynamics,
computational electromagnetics.
